PROTEST Female protest in Cairo

The death of Shaima al-Sabbagh, a peaceful demonstrator, is the symbol of the failure of the Arab Spring. Egypt’s Al-Sissi just killed Shaima al-Sabbagh.

She demonstrated to mark the fourth anniversary of the revolution and to pay tribute to the hundreds of women and men who died for freedom. Socialist Popular Alliance, the Progressive Party, organised a gathering in TalaatHarb square, Cairo. Shaima al-Sabbagh, 32, was killed Saturday by police during the demonstration. Eleven people died during the protest march. Shaima’s death was broadcasted live on the Internet.
