CUBA USA hopes to open an embassy in April

 

"We must remember that we did not say that normal relations would be restored immediately. There is still much work to do," said Barack Obama.

The US President confirmed Monday that he was hopeful of seeing the US soon open an embassy in Cuba. In an interview, he also said that restoring normal relations with the island would take time after a break of more than fifty years. The idea had already been advanced it a few days ago by the Assistant Secretary of State Roberta Jacobson.
