Obama commemorates Bloody Sunday

The march for equality is not over "but we are getting there." This was the message delivered, Saturday by US President Barack Obama, in the small town of Selma (Alabama). Obama visited Selma to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of Bloody Sunday, a march for civil rights during which the police had charged some 600 protesters who peacefully marched for the right to vote, Obama acknowledged that America "still carries the shadow of his racial history."
