African spend estimated $ 7 billion on fake hair

According to "Euromonitor International," people in South Africa, Nigeria and Cameroon alone spend $ 1.1 billion in hair care products. This includes shampoos, lotions and hair straightener. The amounts provided by the fake hair exceed, however far that number. According to testimony, dry hair industry is estimated at about $ 6 billion per year. The African hairdressing industry has become so fruitful that Unilever now has a salon in Johannesburg boasting its full range of products.
