Chapel Hill murderers might face death penalty

A judge in North Carolina decided Monday that the death penalty could be sought against the man suspected of having shot and killed three Muslim students in the university town of Chapel Hill. Craig Hicks, a 46-year-old who calls himself’ hostile to religions’, was charged one week after the event by a grand jury on 10 February for the assassination of Deah Shaddy Barakat (23) his wife Yusor Abu Salha (21) and Razan Abu Salha (19). The Orlando Hudson judge approved a request from prosecutors seeking the a death penalty.
