Islamic State releases more than 200 Yazidis

The Islamic State has released more than 200 members of the Yazidi minority, including women and children, held for several months. They were released Monday in the province of Nineveh and arrived two days later in the territories under Kurdish control of Kirkuk in the north of the country. "We have negotiated for days with tribal sheikhs to Haouija and were able to obtain the release of kidnapped Yezidi". The organisation had already released some 200 Yezidis in January.
