Journalists prosecuted for reprinting "Charlie Hebdo"

Two Cumhuriyet (The Republic) journalists were prosecuted for their pages reproduced in a Charlie Hebdo issue, published a week after the attack on 7 January. They are likely facing four and a half years in prison, according to Internet reports on Wednesday by their employer. They are accused of "insulting the religious values ??of the people." "We are threatened with prison for advocating freedom of expression (...)," responded one of the journalists, Ceyda Karan, stating that it had the protection of a bodyguard since January.
