A320 crash: co-pilot was unstable

Doctors of Lufthansa had recommended psychological treatment after the depression of the co-pilot Andreas Lubitz. Lubits is suspected of deliberately crashing the Germanwings Airbus A320 in the French Alps. The German Supervisory Authority airline discovered a note in a file of Lufthansa, Germanwings parent, concerning Lubitz’ mental health condition. Doctors of the airline wrote that "…Lubitz should continue to be followed psychologically…”. The note was made by an independent expert in 2009, after the pilot has undergone a major depressive episode.
