At least 400 migrants missing

Some 400 migrants have disappeared Sunday when a makeshift boat sank, according the 150 survivors. Survivors landed Tuesday morning in Italy and were interviewed by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the NGO Save the Children. "According to testimonies gathered in recent times among the 150 survivors, there were about 400 people in the shipwreck that occurred 24 hours after the departure from the Libyan coast", said Save the Children in a statement. This accident is the greatest tragedy in the Mediterranean since the beginning of the twenty-first century.
