Air raid on Tripoli

Forces loyal to the Libyan government, identified by the international community Wednesday, have bombed Tripoli airport and other areas in the west of the country that is controlled by the Libyan government rival Aube. These raids are part of "a campaign against terrorism," said a spokesman of the armed forces of the government of Prime Minister Abdullah al-Thinni. A source close to security saidmissile batteries, located 10 kilometres from Mitiga airport in Tripoli, has been affected. The airport itself has not been damaged, said a spokesman for airport management.
