SOCIAL/Curro apologises



Pretoria - Curro, a private school in Pretoria, apologised for separating white students from black students in class. The school acknowledged that it made a mistake.

They will rectify the situation, according to Lesufi. Lesufi, parents and the SA Human Rights Commission has held a meeting with school management. They agreed that transformation is needed. South African children should not be reminded of apartheid and of were SA come from. Several changes are on the list to be implemented including the introduction of African languages as a subject. Black teachers will work with white teachers.
