ECONOMY/Indaba assists SA’s job creation


Cape Town -, The four-day Indaba to discuss the mining industry, will give SA an opportunity to incite investors and deal-makers from around the world to flourish within the country. The mining industry conference hosted in Cape Town can generate close to 5,000 direct and indirect jobs, according to the Western Cape Economic Opportunities Department

. The African Mining Indaba is an annual event where mining professionals from all over the world meet. They focus on investment and capitalisation with 7000 delegates from 110 countries attending the conference. Since the Indaba was first held in the province in 2006, the local economy has benefited half a billion rand. Special advisors said  the event will assure investors about the stability of SA’s mining industry.
