Pretoria – The presidency has warned South Africans against 11 terror suspects with links to IS and al-Qaeda. The proclamation was published in the Government Gazette

, listing the names of the wanted men and women. SA has been warned to look out for one suspect in particular: Norwegian Anders Cameroon Ostensyig Dale. Dale joined al-Qaeda in 2008. His areas of expertise include bomb-belts, improvised explosive devices and larger explosives used in car bombs, the US Department said. Samantha Lewthwaite is the most recent top terror suspect who stayed in SA. Lewthwaite is linked to the attack on Kenya’s Westgate Mall in September 2013. According to a senior politics professor, SA has been used by global terror networks since the 1990s.
