EDUCATION TUT student protests


Pretoria - Students’ protest resumes today for all Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). A formal agreement between TUT’s management and Student Representative Council (SRC) will be signed this week. The university regrets the recent closure of campuses

. Students have been protesting overa  lack of funds. Protests started at the TUT’s Soshanguve campuses and later spread to the Ga-Rankuwa, eMalahleni and Pretoria campuses. Only registered students are allowed to attend TUT campuses. The deeadline for registration will be 3 March.
