It's crazy but it's all about courage! South African Adriana Marais has been qualified as one of the 100 people to be part of a Martian expedition.  Four astronauts will be sent at a time to establish permanent residence on Mars every two years, starting 2024. Adriana is now a few steps away from Mars. Marais said fear is definitely part of it. This is a one way trip as a safe return has not been part of the long voyage. The family and friends of this very courageous woman has been actively supportive. Her decision reflects her wish to promote and contribute to science in SA. “It's always impossible until it's done”, she told News24.
