March 12 th, 2015
Cape Town - Three thousand, four hundred white employees could lose their job if Eskom aims to balance employment equity based on race. Solidarity's Piet le Roux do not agree with Eskom's plan of implementing power utility regarding race as more important than keeping the lights on. Eskom denied the race-based-allegation. The company has dismissed one of the central tenets of the constitution which discourages the social control of people based on race and gender. In addition, the new and existing power station needs more engineers and workers.
