SA launches China's year

South Africa officially launched on Sunday the Year of China. A big ceremony was held in Pretoria. Chinese Minister of Culture, LuoShugang and the SA minister of Arts and Culture, NathiMthethwa, took part in the opening ceremony, along with a big concert held at the Pretoria State Theatre.  The Chinese and South African presidents exchanged congratulation messages to mark the occasion. Organised in major cities in nine SA provinces, the events will present China's development path and its success and fruitful results of co-operation between the two countries.
