March 26 th, 2015
Johannesburg- Miss World, Rolene Strauss, got her hands dirty during a visit to the Leeuwkop Correctional Centre on Wednesday in Johannesburg. She arrived home after a world tour and is continuing her ambitious vegetable garden project which she started during her reign as Miss South Africa. One inmate said the project keeps them constructive so they don’t get involved in gangsterism. Strauss also said the project would not only ‘give’ individuals fish, but teach them how to fish. Strauss is expected at the crowning of the new Miss SA this Sunday.
