Satawu Gauteng secretary killed

Johannesburg - The SA Transport and Allied Workers Union (Satawu) Gauteng secretary, Chris Nkosi, was found dead in inside a car on Monday night in Germiston, Johannesburg. He was on the N17 on his way back home in the East Rand when he was shot five times. According to Satawu spokesperson Vincent Masonga, Nkosi was ambushed. The attack is thought to be an assassination. Several other leaders have been provided bodyguards due to threats against them. Law enforcement agencies are implementing serious precautionary measures. An eye witness said that a BMW’s occupant, driving next to the cararound 6pm, fired shots. The man had been identified but the Gauteng police spokesperson Lungelo Dlamini could not release his name.
