SA’s wind power park is ready

The Italian manufacturer,Enel Green Power, said in a statement to have obtained three sites in South Africa to construct wind turbine power, generating up to 425MW. Eskom will give details of the specified contract soon. The infrastructures are located at Oyser Bay and Karusa with 142MW capacity each, and Nxuba plant with 141MW. The energy production will start late 2017, early 2018. The facilities are expected to produce approximately 1,560GWh of additional energy per year. Enle Green and its partners invested R6.4b into the project. This is part of the fourth phase of the independent producers of renewable energy program developed by SA.
