April 18 th, 2015

“This must never happen again” said Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe. Mugabe is ‘disgusted’ and blasted the horror faced by foreigners living in SA, such as the burning of Africans by the Zulu community. At least 300 people have been arrested so far and six people have been killed. Perpetrators blamed foreigners of stealing their jobs in SA, where the unemployment rate is almost 40% of young people. “Our people must be treated with dignity on the African continent” Mugabe added. Seven hundred Zimbabweans in Durban are ready to go back home. Seven buses are due to leave SA on Sunday, according to Zimbabwe’s ambassador to SA, Isaac Moyo.
