Pretoria’s public transport improves
April 19 th, 2015
Pretoria – Incessant hooting by minibus taxi drivers will be of the past when the new public transport regulations of the nation’s capital are promulgated. The proposed law will prevent infectious and dirty clothes to enter public transport vehicles. The new transport dispensation will provide metered taxis. Pedestrians will be much protected and freely move as road traffic sign, advertising sing, pole or other obstruction will be off of all sidewalks. The law will authorise officers to remove all blockage on sidewalks. Walking on roadways will not be allowed, except on crossing lines. All schools will provide areas for students to be picked up and dropped off where all other vehicles in its vicinity must slow down or stop.
