Bilateral protection program of rhinos

Pretoria - A Vietnamese delegation met on Wednesday in Pretoria with representatives of SA’s Ministry of Environment. The meeting was held to assess a bilateral protection program. Vietnamese Ambassador Le Huy Hoang said that his country wishes to enhance cooperation with SA in biodiversity protection. Skumsa Mancotywa of the biodiversity conservation department within the SA Ministry of Environment highlighted SA’s efforts made in Vietnam to minimise rhino horn consumption. Mancotywa has then invited by Vietnam to send a delegation of students to participate in a youth summit on the conservation of rhinos. The convention is scheduled for next June in South Africa.
