Xenophobia: Nigeria signifies its displeasure

Nigeria has decided to recall its deputy and ambassador to SA to express their indignation and anger after the series of xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in SA. The decision follows the words of the Nigerian Senate who strongly condemned the hostility and protest that took place outside its embassy in the country. SA’s government said the incident was “unfortunate and regrettable”. Nigeria wants to discus the situation. In a statement, dated April 25, SA Department of International Relations and Cooperation said that “government may resort to such extraordinary diplomatic measures to express his indignation”
