DA plans to appeal Nkandla ‘verdict’

The conclusion of the minister of police is clear: the president should not repay a single penny to South Africans. The opposition party plans several appeals and is determined to not let Zuma have the last say. The DA is seriously considering legal action. The party will advise its lawyers over the weekend. Their findings wer expected to be sent yesterday to the Assembly President and the Minister of Police. Mmusi Maimane, the new DA leader, will ask the Assembly today to reject the report and declare it “illegitimate and irrelevant”.
