KZN and Durban shaken by tremor

Durban – KwaZulu Natal and parts of Durban have experienced a 3.1 magnitude quake in the early hours of Tuesday morning. According to a seismologist working for the Council of Geoscience in Pretoria, Martin Brandt, the epicentre was just outside Gingindlovu. More detailed data would be required to give exact information. The Council for Geoscience could not give an indication how widespread it was. They were in the process of gathering and analysing the data.
