A new attack bursts on foreign nationals

North Cape - The president of the Nigerian Union in South Africa, IkechukwoAnyene, has raised the alarm about a recent xenophobic attack against Nigerians and other foreign nationals in Sternkopf, Namakwa municipality in the Northern Cape. Reports of the latest attack indicated that two cars belonging to Nigerians were burnt. Anyene said that the attackers went from house to house, looting and destroying property. In the nearby Springbok community six Nigerian nationals have fled with their families. Nigerian Consul General in South Africa UcheOkeke-Ajulu confirmed the incident, saying that the investigation of the new attack is ongoing.
