Facebook head office in SA

Facebook announced its first office in Africa to deepen its commitment to help companies develop locally and regionally. The new office is located in Melrose Arch Johannesburg and headed by former Ogilvy CEO, Nunu Ntshingila, who becomes the head of Facebook for Africa. The office aims to support Facebook growth on the continent where social network is already very popular with businesses and individuals. It will support its customers on the mainland as well. Facebook will focus initially to grow its activities in productive countries in the sub-Saharan Africa areas such as Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa.
