Residents urged to be vigilant

Cape Town - Western Cape police Lieutenant General Arno Lamoer warns everyone to keep doors locked all the times and be alerted. Lamoer’s home was robbed on Tuesday in the northern suburbs of Cape Town. Robbers took a computer, television and meat. Occupants were in deep sleep in his Panorama home at the time of incident which occurred between 4am and 6am. Officer Lamoer advised homeowners to make sure their doors are always locked and the alarm permanently activated. Each resident should know their suburb and neighbours. Crime statistics for the Parrow region shows that burglaries rose exponentially form 626 in 2009 to 1,018 in 2014.
