Gunmen kill 13 civilians

Thirteen civilian passengers of a bus, which travelled in the south of Afghanistan, were shot dead on Tuesday by gunmen in Wardak province, near the capital Kabul. "Around 1am, a group of armed men opened fire on the passengers of a bus in Wardak province, killing thirteen people, including a woman," said AttaullahKhogyani, spokesman of the governor of the province. The attack had not been claimed on Tuesday morning. The Sayadabad district, where the incident occurred, is experiencing a strong presence of Taliban insurgents.
