There are so many ways in which we belittle ourselves. We listen to the voice of the enemy too often while God clearly tells us that there is no condemnation for those that are in Him. We often condemn ourselves by focusing on everything that we are not.

Our focus should be on the Creator of our lives who can use His power to work through us, for Him. God tells us that we can do anything through Him and that He will always be there. It clearly says in the Bible that we were created in the image of the Almighty. Therefore I am strong, I am bold, I am righteous, I am merciful, I am everything He is and I can do everything He says I can.
We’ve all felt bruised and battered (and yearning for God’s nearness?) just as Jesus felt when He hung on the cross. We’ve learned to make sense of our lives and discovered many answers during these dark hours in our lives. Through Jesus’ once brought eternally valid sacrifice He paved the way for our perfection. Jesus’ crucifixion sets the perfect example of unconditional love and all the while, God strengthened Him in his darkest moments. Jesus’ trials and tribulations were not in vain: He taught us to love one another for therein lies the fulfilment of every law. Jesus endured many hardships, praying that God would remove the cup of suffering from Him. God permitted the unthinkable to bring salvation to mankind. What many do not realise is that God sees His beloved in each and every one of us and it is time we start reciprocating God’s love.
