Debate pending arbitration of the King of Morocco

The National Library of Rabat is buzzing. A debate on amending the law on abortion is raging in a crowded conference room. The debate was organised by the Moroccan Association for the Fight against Clandestine Abortion in partnership with the Association Law and Justice and the National Collective Right to health. Feminist associations, with representatives of political parties,joined the debate. Chafik Chraibi, a gynaecologist and head of the maternity ward of Rabat Orange, orchestrated the debate. The right to abortion is the fight against life. He said he is pleased that this matter be finally discussed at national level.
