April 16 th, 2015
You will need:
• tea cups
• candle wax
• food colouring (optional)
• wicks for candles
• a bowl and a pot for a water bath
• wooden kebab sticks
• Sellotape and scissors
Step 1: Attach the locks of your candles
Use sellotape to tape together the end of your wooden sticks. This will help you to easily position the wicks in the centre of your cups.
Step 2: Melt the wax
Melt the wax in water while you continually stir the mixture with two wooden skewers. Add a few drops of food colouring to colour to your candles.
Step 3: Fill the cups
Gently fill your cups with melted wax mixture. Use gloves to avoid burns! Also make sure that the locks are at the centre. Cut the locks if they are too long.
Wait a few hours while the wax hardens before you light your beautiful candles! This easyproject will add a feminine, vintage look to all your parties.
