Cancer detection through breathalyser test

Soon it might be possible to screen for gastric cancer with a simple breath test. Researchers at the Russell Berrie Institute in Israel have developed a new technology capable of detecting compounds in exhaled air. It could prove to be an effective way to detect stomach cancer, the leading cancer that has claims more than 1.4 million lives each year. The laboratory head at the Institute stated that "most people are diagnosed when it is too late to save them."
